Glitch is a 2015 Australian drama/paranormal series that premiered on ABC, that involves the dead coming back to life; 6 people to be exact. There’s a couple of TV series that have followed the same premise, where random people who died, returned from the dead; Resurrection (which was canceled after 2 seasons) and The Returned (which was canceled only after 1 season). Unfortunately for those series, as you can see, they were canceled. While Glitch, as been approved for a 3rd season, which started filming this September.

Somewhere Between
Somewhere Between, is an ABC drama series that is currently on Netflix as a limited series. It is a series that follows a mother who daughter has been kidnapped, presumably, by a serial killer who’s been keeping her city hostage. Eventually her daughter turns up dead and not being able to handle the loss of her child, she attempts to take her own life but seemingly is rescued. Interestingly enough, it’s not that she was rescued on the day she tried to attempt to take her life, but in fact it appears to be days prior to that. She ends up returning to her family during a time when her daughter is alive; a few days before her daughter is to be killed. Along with an ex detective, they both try to solve the mystery of this serial killer before its’ too late. The series is an American adaptation to a Korean TV show called God’s Gift: 14 Days.

The Haunting – Of Hill House
The Haunting Of Hill House, is a Netflix horror series that’s been getting a lot of press time with how scary it is and how some people were freaking out over it. Some people couldn’t get pass the first episode, while others were just scared beyond belief. Apparently it’s suppose to be revolutionizing the horror genre, but I would be the judge of that. I am an avid horror movie fan and not much scare me when it comes to this genre. So, we will see how scary this new series really is.
So a little backstory; The Haunting Of Hill House is a tv series adaptation of the 1959 book of the same name by Shirley Jackson. Apparently a lot of people had a lot of good things to say about the novel; Stephen King even stating that it is one of the best horror novels in the 20th century. It also has been described as one of the best horror novels to ever be written. With a review like that, by the horror novel genre king; Stephen King, and others, the series of the same name, has a lot to follow.

Dark – Netflix Series – Season 1 – Final Episode & Season 2 discussion
I finished off Dark, the German Netflix thriller that was released in December of last year. It received great reviews, with a 8.6/10 on IMDb and 87% on rotten tomatoes. I even wrote a review of my own, if you’re interested in reading it yourself. I just want to say that this show is absolutely worth its’ ratings. It’s a brilliant series that’s draped in a huge mystery that revolves around the number 33 and occurs in this fictional German town called Winden. The series starts off with a bang and it just spirals along into this massive story that you just get engulfed in, willingly. A perfect binge-worth Netflix series, if I have to say so myself.
I want to say that this post entry of mine, is going to involve some spoilers of some whats, as I speak about the last episode and also what I think needs to be answered in Season 2, which has already started filming. I will speak more about that and what we can expect from our characters in the next season.

Lost In Space – Season 2 – What we know
So, in about April, I wrote my own little review on Lost in Space – Season 1 and had high expectations which were completely met with enthusiasm as they were all fulfilled all the way to the last episode. Even the ending of episode 10, had a lovely twist which set up the possible plot line for Season 2.
As with all series, the anticipation for the other season, is always great and it is even greater when the series is pretty good. A lot of these Netflix series are like movies in their own right; just include 10 or so screening times, instead of one. After you’ve finish with one episode, you MUST watch the next one. I mean it’s just awesome that they release all their episodes at once, so at least you don’t have to wait for the next week, to find out what happened. No one will judge you either for binging on the whole season in just one day either.

Dark (2017) – Netflix series
Dark is a German thriller/sci-fi/horror series that’s on Netflix. The beginning season focuses on the chaos that ensues over a kid going miss and the community trying to come to terms with what happened to him. Not only that but a family unfortunately experiences the ultimate lost, that’s strewed with mystery; a letter that isn’t to be opened before a particular day and a particular time. It also sheds light on the secrets small towns can have, and how it all can eventually come crashing down due to the smallest thing.
As with all creepy series on Netflix, kids are always involved. So don’t expect anything less from Dark. I mean who’s scared most, but kids? Apparently something happened a few years ago and it may be happening again. Unfortunately, that’s the whole premise, so learning of it takes a little time but during the first episode, it’s worth every single minute.

Family Medicine – Shelf Exam Tips
If you are looking to do very well on the Family Medicine Shelf Examination, then keep reading. I did very well, got an A+; finishing off my medical school exams with a huge BANG! I used a few resources, and to be frank, they did help a lot.
As per usual when it comes to my break downs on doing well on your clinical clerkships shelf examinations, I will explain what I did in as much detail as I can.
Now as just a quick introduction to what to expect when it comes to the Family Medicine Shelf Exam; it is definitely easier than Internal Medicine. Also, you’d probably be able to pass the Family Medicine Shelf Exam, if you had the Internal Medicine Shelf Exam before; with only using the first resource on the list. Obviously the only difference is “screening” – preventative medicine. I got a fair amount of screening questions on my examination and also a lot of elderly medicine related questions. Some of the questions were as simple as diagnosing the disorder or recognizing a very simple contraindication to someone’s background health in relation to medications, etc. It did have some statistical questions; I got like 2 of them and a few ethical questions.

The Titan – Review
The Titan, is a movie that gives us a glimpse into the possibilities, or at least one of them, when it comes to when man no longer is able to call Earth home. It is no secret that eventually our planet will die, but does that mean mankind has to die with it? This is the premise of The Titan. If we cannot create a planet that is suitable for human life, what is our next option? Building ourselves to be suitable for said planet. Another movie on Netflix that follows the same sort of premise; where manipulation of humans leads to dire consequences; is The Beyond; and like the cliff notes of reviews, it is a better movie.
As the movie progresses we get a chance to recognize the consequences that comes from manipulating man’s biology and genetics, and pushing evolution along quicker than it should be. Lt. Rick Janssen (played by Sam Worthington) starts to experience some changes, that are beyond the scope of the “mission”. Obviously, this causes concern for his wife, who happens to be a doctor. Although the changes he experiences is no where near as horrible as the other participants in this “experiment”, that’s being ran by Professor Martin Collingwood (played by Tom Wilkinson).

Stranger Things – Season 3 – Everything you need to know
We already know that Season 3 of Stranger Things, is coming out Summer 2019. But, it would be even more awesome to know who’s going to be part of the cast. Thankfully, everyone remains intact at the end of Season 2. So all of the original cast are coming back!
As for the newbies; Maya Hawke will be playing Robin, a new character who is going to discover and uncover some type of dark secret within Hawkins (sounds hella interesting). Then we have Cary Elwes who is going to play Mayor Kline, Jake Busey, as Bruce and Francesca Reale, who plays Heather, a character that becomes the focal point for some “dark mystery”.
